To prevent unauthorized duplication of the R.U.S.E. executable and protect intellectual property, the software requires a hardware-tied activation validation step:

• > HARDWARE HASHING: Upon initial license key entry, the system generates a secure local hardware-tied hash.
• > PERIODIC SYNCHRONIZATION: The license utility periodically verifies active subscription status via an encrypted API handshake.
• > MINIMAL METADATA: Handshakes communicate only the license key, system identity hash, and active software state. No behavioral details or system configurations are shared.

When users interact with our marketing and trial services, we collect minimal operational information required to distribute binary builds:
